True Helical Planer Head with insert knife

This style is used where a better finish is required. Suitable for most applications.

Can also be used on ‘4 sided’ and copying machines.

Wear on the inserts can be quickly remedied by rotation of the insert.

This in turn gives longer machine and tool life.

Due to the spread of load over a large number of inserts a smooth cutting action is achieved, resulting in lower loads on the machine.

Cutter has minimal noise significantly reduces tear out on cross grain cuts. Suitable for softwood and hardwood.
